Fabrication Guidelines

The Mountain Hug Project gratefully accepts quilted, knitted, and crocheted handmade items. Please follow the guidelines below when creating your Hug for donation.

Requirements:

• New, unused, handmade items only. 

• All handmade items must be washed, bagged, and include care details.  Ready for distribution.

• Smoke-free, pet-hair-free, mold/mildew-free, no strong chemical smells (detergents, fabric softeners, etc).

• Washable materials - 100% cotton or cotton/poly blend preferred.

• Avoid any scratchy materials.

• Age-appropriate patterns.

• Fully finished construction - batting optional.

Optional:

• Adding a quilt label that includes a dedication to The Mountain Hug Project.

• Adding a maker's label (can be combined with any dedication)
